My doctor does not believe in giving anyone sleeping pills?
Stick with that doctor he has got the right idea. Sleeping tablets can quickly become addictive and if you can't sleep then there is an underlying problem or problems that are causing this and that is what needs to be sorted out and not covered up. You have had a lot of advice about natural things that you can take to help you relax and techniques to relax when you go to bed. Try these and see it they help but keep try dealing with the cause. Oh yes you can get used to sleeping tablets and you then have to take more and more so don't start if you can help it.
